What am I actually reserving?
A founding seat in Stone Lyon Society — the full eight-room House curriculum in cozy and traditional mystery — at a rate no one else will get again.
What happens to my $95?
It's a refundable deposit credited toward your first year. When we open, we charge the remaining $800 to the same card and send your key. Until then it sits, unspent, on your record.
When do the doors open?
We're targeting October 2026. You'll get a Letter from the Drawing Room before we charge the balance, so nothing is a surprise.
Can I get my deposit back?
Yes. Any time before launch, for any reason. Write to patrick@stonelyonsociety.com and we'll refund in full within a few business days. After launch, we honor the same policy for the first seven days of access.
Why $95, and why now?
We want to build the House with the writers who'll actually live in it — not for an anonymous crowd. A small, refundable deposit is the quietest way to say: hold my chair, I'm coming.
What if I already joined the waiting list?
This is a separate door. The waiting list gets Letters from the Drawing Room. A founding reservation gets you a seat, at a rate that closes when the founding cohort is full.
